Abstract: In the article The Gift of „double sight”: the landscape retrospect in Russian lyrics the role of the landscape retrospect in general lyrical and memoir discourse is in the center. It is revealed by the example of lyrical books and cycles by N. Nekrasov’s Last Songs, G. Ivanov’s Posthumous Diary, N. Zabolotsky’s Last Love, A. Tvardovsky’s From Lyrics Of These Years. These books belong to those which may be called poets’ concluding works.
