Abstract: The current article explores the cultural activities of the Bulgarian academic organization “Bulgarian Working-bee” in Prague and its relationship with the Bulgarian embassy during the diplomatic mandate of the plenipotentiary minister Boris Vazov (1927 – 1932). In this paper we assess these relations from two different perspectives – from the perspective of their mutual cooperation and from the perspective of the bitter conflicts between the two institutions that resulted in an open split with the academic organization.
