Abstract: The paper explores Kantakuzin’s Note of Love wich is an integral part of his Epistle to Isaiah. Special attention is paid to the influence of Saint Apostle Paul, Saint John the Evangelist, and Saint Ephraim from Syria upon Kantakuzin, as well as to his relationships with other Serbian authors.
